Education
The goal of the MIT Transit Lab is to provide students with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in public transport, private industry, academia and start-ups. Transit Lab students combine a rigorous technical and policy courseload with practical work experience, leadership and communication skills development as part of their internship with our agency partners. The large and diverse student group from MIT and NU meets weekly to share research progress, ideas and provide feedback to one another, creating a tight-knit culture that enables cross-agency learning and a strong bond between students.
